We will be exhibiting a large selection of Picasso prints ranging throughout the artist's career, from his well-known images of the infamous Suite Vollard to a sampling celebrated images produced during the artist's most prolific years. A selection of woodcuts by Edvard Munch will also be on view including those most notable with smaller, seldom seen images. The Armory Show – Modern Pier 92 | Twelfth Avenue at 55th Street, New York City Thursday, March 8 – Saturday, March 10, 12-8pm; Sunday, March 11, 12-7pm Our exhibition will be dedicated to Picasso's works on paper, and will include a cohesive sampling of the artist's œuvre focusing on the juxtaposition of his most iconic and quintessential images with those rare, unseen and unpublished. Works from Picasso's notable epochs, favored themes and frequently utilized techniques will be included. Specifically, a selection of early drawings; the artist's first endeavors with intaglio in early twentieth-century Paris; his lifelong inspiration through women and, in particular, Marie-Thérèse Walter, Dora Maar, Françoise Gilot and Jacqueline Roque; his experimentation and subsequent mastering of lithography in the 1940s and 1950s, and of linocut in the 1960s; his prolific outpouring of works, the summation of his life and art, and his attempt to place himself among the great masters of the past.
